THE EFFECT OF RELIGIOUS FACTORS ON TRADITIONAL GENDER BELIEFS IN TURKEY

The main purpose of the present study is to examine relationship between religiosity and gender traditionalism in a secular Muslim country, Turkey. Based on previous research perspectives several hypotheses were developed test. A joint data, which collected by European Value Survey World from Turkey 2018, was used for analysis. series models linear logistic regression created test effect each predictor variable traditional beliefs. results indicated that subjective given importance religion strongly, significantly, positively associated with while prayer practice showed slight positive traditionalism. Implications discussed concluded, limitations identified future work.
